: (1) A police officer who is dissatisfied with the order given under Rule 116 and 117 may file an appeal through the office from which the action was ordered or directly to the officer hearing the appeal.
(2) In the appeal, the person making the appeal must present the evidence for his/her acquittal and must write it in polite language. Along with the appeal, a copy of the order against which the appeal is made should also be kept.
(3) When filing an appeal according to sub-rule (1), it must be filed within thirty-five days from the date of receiving the notice of the order.
(4) The decision of the officer hearing the appeal regarding the order of departmental punishment shall be final.
